lol... I don't hate on Toronto.

Acquiring Brodie was like any team that acquired Brian Rafalski... but you need the other exceptional defence man who does all things correctly like a Lidstrom and or Scott Niedermayer (both triple gold club boys I think?).

Gio may be a bit older, but his fitness doesn't appear at all reflective of his age and if you think about all the characteristics needed to be a good defence man, boy he is balanced across the board. Great vision, good offensive prowess, physical, good skater, good shot, aggressive etc..

You are probably right in that prediction As a Leafs fan this is hard to watch.
It is the last dance for the Big 4 and also I believe Kyle has done his last move as a Leafs GM.
It most likely that AM34 will take his talents to his home town. I don't blame him for doing that.

Based on the direction where they are going they should have a very good team , provided they land on Connor Bedard.
Plus he could go home to save the franchise. If not Arizona he will go to LA. I can't see him staying in Toronto if they don't win.
