Eichel in his prime in Buffalos couldn't carry them to the playoffs.
And Vegas is slowly becoming the most hated team in the league.

I like the idea that any player is trade able. I think that should be how every team runs. Emotionally holding onto the player you needed three years ago is a failing.

To me, it's Buffalo who decided the opinion of Eichel's doctor was so so completely out to lunch that they ruined an opportunity to have a superstar.
I don't follow it closely, but buffalo looked insane through the whole thing. Eichel wanted the better medical treatment and wasn't willing to compromise. Unless he did something else more recent?

I dont think he has looked like a superstar. His PR through the whole thing, and since hasn't been very good. Buffalo's has been worse. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Eichel requested a trade prior to injury, owners didn't like that and held a grunge and wouldn't let him get his terminator neck surgery.
Both are stupid, but Sabres organization are the bigger clowns in that whole situation by far.
This, and Buffalo is a toxic toilet organization. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
For Buster - he's not a superstar, yet, but it's coming.
I don't think he will perform up to expectations, when his career is in the books. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I mean i understand the no loyalty thing and all. But they've made some bad moves and bad PR because of it.
Ie: flower. I'd bet they make the playoffs if he's still on the team.
How long until their GM is turfed? Sure he looked like a superstar their opening year but how he's handled pretty much everything since then has been a joke. I don't know enough about the ownership group to know if they approve of the douchey vibe Kelly McCrimmon gives off, but from an outsider looking in its not a good look.

I think they'd have made it if Lehner wasn't hurt/anguished for as many games as he missed, though. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
He's been trash all year. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
and you can say the same about the roster. Stone was "hurt". Martiez and Pacioretty also.
attempting to trade Dadonov turned into a huge joke. As bad as Flames offer sheet for O'Reilly years ago.
I don't see how to blame mgmt when several key players are injured. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There are other things to be upset with them about, but if Vegas suffered more than average man-games lost, then expectations should be adjusted.
I wouldn't say he was trash, he played OK considering the injuries. VGK had defensive issues which weren't great, but the difference previous years when VGK goes through defensive woes was that Fleury was clutch and won games that VGK had no business in winning. Lehner couldn't do that. When he signed his contract last season, it was pretty clear there was no room for the both of them, and bet on him as the future with a cheaper contract. Still a small possibility that they could carry both, but when MAF was traded I posted it was a mistake. Hate to be right there. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The Dadonov trade, that’s just a shot show of what’s negotiated on how to manage NTC lists, and incompetence of both Ottawa and Vegas, more so Ottawa as they gave Vegas and NHL bad information during the trade. The almost O’Reilly offer sheet was worse imo, when fans and analysts discovered the issues.
Yea, that's the biggest thing, how much injuries VGK went through. Kinda buried as "they're cheating" but it is what it is. The season would've been a lot different if they still had MAF.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
