I don’t think so. You go to a battle of Alberta game in Calgary and 1/3 the crowd has blue jerseys. The same up in Edmonton and there will be zero red jerseys. Flames fans are most definitely the minority, even when it’s bandwagon time. But I hope the Flames do well in the playoffs too as with all Canadian teams every season. Except everything Toronto can choke on a dick.

I was ready to toss a jersey onto the ice, but it's not like they signed a risky player to a 7-yr contract. Cough* Lucic*...
His goals/game has been astonishing. In terms of rental player, I think he may be a record holder. I really really dislike his disdain for authority and referees that I still see, but holy shit - he is doing well.
It's a reckless play to sign him that has very luckily paid off for them... Thus far.
