I dont understand how this Bitcoin ETF is different from the bitcoin and ethereum etf's that already exist. For example I hold BTCC.U and its up 63% since I bought it and there are others. But in the states they are treating this like its the first bitcoin ETF.

This seems like a bad decision. The fund doesn't hold bitcoin but futures contracts.
Why not hold the underlying asset on a quality exchange or even better for the less technical BTCC.U
I entered into my last significant position around $6 and wouldn't be doing so as we sit at an ATH even though I expect it to increase.
