    Not perm job, so no severance. Min severance is 1 week for that length of time anyhow, if they give you two week's worth no lawyer is going to touch your case unless someone was putting their hand down your pants.

    In my experience, contractors are the first to be let go when there's a whiff of bad things to come.

    I would say there is equal chance of the client extending, taking me on full-time or ending the contract. I would probably go back to looking for a full-time role.
    Then you are not a contractor. You are just looking for a raise and/or change of environment.

    Not from my experience.
    It's usually the most useless, regardless of employment status.
