One thing that has perplexed me, is that government at all levels completely ignored air purification strategies. They threw all that money around over the last 2 years on public building infrastructure and basically none of it went to UV systems for ventilation. All those handouts, why not cover some of the costs for a home uv system, some for public spaces and factories. The government didnt even suggest it to people which seems crazy given how much time we spend indoors in this climate and that covid hangs around in the air as an aerosol.

this is not true... Ontario has spent alot on ventilation in schools due to covid. I dont think Alberta has but i could be wrong

Covid doesn't seem to be aerosolized to a degree that it goes through ventilation.

There are a lot of studies that say it does. When they tried to contact trace my infection, the most likely source was me working inside a duct on a return air fan in a school that was shutdown at the time because of covid cases, no other of my work sites turned up any traces of covid.

I plan to vaccinate my child.....in 4 years or so. I don't see the benefit in doing so now when there is already strong evidence of harm and almost zero risk of severe covid. Moreover, I think it is irresponsible to inject your very young children with this until long term studies are done.

That post is pretty much the argument why they need to change course and have REP apply to all who are eligible for vaccination. Facebook science and playing doctor weren't acceptable for anyone else, no need for it to be acceptable for parents to apply when it comes to kids. Especially when the goal is to vaccinate as many as possible and having restrictions hinges greatly on those numbers.

I have little interest in continual shots regardless of anything. What do the Beyond think tank/critique crew say of this (opinion) article? Presumably not the only endeavour underway. Is it reasonable to think an effective solution will be reached on another front?

Exactly so is that a good compromise than getting the V? Why not but if the argument is the spread to the 0-4 cuz they aren't eligible for the V, Idk, lock them up, mask them up etc. The 5-100 group go get triple V and wear triple masks.
