I’d argue that D is actually a con rather than a pro

Ok, so what should the main motivator be to vaccinate your child?

    A. Reducing the chance of serious outcomes for your child.

    B. Reducing the chance of infection and any of the unknown longer term health issues for your child from CoVid?

    C. Reducing the chance of infection and further spread of the virus to the rest of society.

    D. Being allowed to travel if/when they also require eligible children to be vaccinated for travel to _____.
What you did there. I see it.

    wrong.

And I don't mean wrong-ish. I mean wrong as in the traditional polar opposite of right.
You make a compelling case..................... I'm open to considering alternate opinions, but when you're the guy that has been wrong on virtually everything related to covid since we started posting about this, you're going to have to do better than a "Fuck you" post.

Feel free to elaborate on the wrong wrongnesses.
The only one I can think of is pretty thin in that the side effects were not insignificant. Although, he quoted and supplied Pfizer's own records indicating that the trial studies noted no significant side effects different from placebo.
    So...

Although I'll sign kiddo up, apparently nurses make it their choice and we really don't get a say in them getting it. If they don't want it - nurse isn't jabbing them.

I forsee this being a tough sell.

What do opinions have to do with any of this?

Is this the same as when you said hostesses and ticket takers get to make up whatever vaccine passport rules they want?

    https://immunizebc.ca/consent-vaccines

    https://www.healthlinkbc.ca/healthli...d-immunization

However, children under the age of 19 who are able to understand the benefits and possible reactions for each vaccine, and the risk of not getting immunized, can legally consent to or refuse immunizations. This means that your child may decide for himself or herself whether or not to receive a vaccine.

There's some level of ability for a child to refuse vaccination in Alberta if they are clear. It can be quite problematic if your kid can't be at least halfway calm. I have had some issues with this, seems to depend on the health care practitioner and their own attitudes.

We've never had to miss any injections, but it's gotten a little lengthy at time.

You mean the one that is pretty clear about

Generally, when a pharmacist considers a minor’s age, the closer the minor is to reaching 18 years of age, the more likely the child can provide informed consent for treatment. The College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) considers 16 years of age as a “threshold for maturity” and the CPSA guides physicians that children younger than 14 years of age are especially unlikely to be “mature minors.”
Not much support for your 5 or 10 year old being able to make medical decisions for themselves.

And the whole article is a discussion around whether a child can consent to receiving a vaccine, and extremely benign treatment, without their parents present. Which is a far cry from overruling parrental discretion in receiving medical treatment.

Once you are in a room with a nurse who doesn't want to give the jab to your crying child, the words written on the website don't mean much. You'll be making a second visit at a later date to get it done. I swear some public health nurses are anti-vax.

When 1 in 5 adults are anti-vax, there's going to be some nurse's in there.

It’s as if going to nursing school doesn’t exempt you from being an idiot or something

Both of these exactly. Kinda sucks for the parents who end up with this situation.

I wont be vaxxing my 2 year old. Look at the risk of severe outcome for covid in this age group. Especially since these numbers are skewed by the fact that AB admitted they are probably only testing and id'ing about 1 in 4 cases. So chance of hospitalization for 1 to 4 year olds is 0.1% and that includes those with underlying condition.
