Spending money when you're young is a bad idea.

What’s wrong with the old fashioned way? Home values only go up, live pay cheque to pay cheque and wait till boomer parents die and you inherit all the retirement savings you need?

Plus, finding a hot girl with rich parents is way easier than finding a hot girl who earns

This is literally the hope for many of the friends I mentioned with no savings.

Some were very disappointed at how not-deadly covid is.

I gotta be quick to beat you to the smart stuff.

Managing your expenses is important, but revenue is critical.
This X 1000. If I knew at 20 what I know now all of my focus would have been on the ability to increase income to a much higher than average level.

600K is too much responsibility. What I make now I'm good with.

Hopefully we can sell the business for a few million.

Even with a beyond selection bias it would be statistically impossible for this to happen with regularity.

But ditch contracts to take 40% less as an employee.
After living both the employee and contractor/consultant life I 100% would take less to be an employee with company paid benefits and savings plans any day of the week. Currently on a contract role trying to find out who I have to blow to roll over into an employee.

No I mean the distribution of incomes in society does not allow for that to be valid advice.

Less pop, more studying and you really should be a Fortune 500 CEO by the time you’re suntan’s age
