Default Alberta NDP Polling at 100%

Alberta politics are becoming scarier than Federal politics.

I despised Notley's NDP but am also embarassed to have supported Kenney's UCP (not that I have any skin in the game anymore since I moved away from Canada a decade ago).

Alberta really needs to get its shit together as this political teeter-totter isn't going to do anything for the province.

That’s weird. My polling suggests a 0% chance of NDP winning, but I’m too lazy to draw a single bar graph so you will have to trust me.

The 338 simulation isn't really accurate at this point.
    And its changed already

There's not enough good quality polling this far ahead to make meaningful models. The 338 stuff will be meaningful starting about 8 months before election day.

Although my gut feel says that the NDP have a good shot at significant gainz. JK has pissed people off.

If you don't want an ndp government you should join the ucp and try to be involved in a leadership review

Although JK has pissed off virtually everyone, I can't find any instance of any major decision during CoVid where I'd find myself saying "Oh, the NDP would've magically done a way better job on this one."

    Shhhh that’s not the narrative!

Covid would have been magically solved if we spent more money on nurses, which we did but that’s beside the point, everyone knows that

Have you tried being more "collaborative" with the federal government? That woulda helped. - kert.

It hasn't changed already... a range of 46-72 seats gives them more than what's needed for a majority (which is what the graph I posted showing 100% chance of majority stated).

I could have made the headline clearer but this will enrage more people.

I’m sure that’s the expected outcome when you only poll Edmonton strathcona

Election is 2 years off, ucp are being spit roasted by both sides because one side want more restrictions and the other want less. It is in the ucp’s interest to get past covid, and with 85%+ single dosed (and likely children) by spring 2022, it leaves plenty of time for your average voter to forget why they are mad at the ucp.

I can see the ndp gaining seats, but I don’t see what they can offer anyone who wants less government after covid.

NDP can offer more civil servant jobs and call it job creation as well, more money to people who don't work for a living.
Look up Public sector jobs crested per yr and under NDP it was insane.

Um. People don’t want to have to “work” to get money. Trudeau has spoiled them in that regard.

Free money or bust is the 2021 left wing playbook.

True. I'm opting for a fully indexed account with weekly government contributions. But who am I kidding being a white male with salary above $28k/yr.

I can say from experience that while EI is reasonably generous, it does not maintain my standard of living, so I will need to keep reading the 89coupe newsletter.

True blue voters are mad at things out of their control. Vote in NDP to spite.

    This is fucking brilliant idiocy.

Time to put my head down and go numb for 4 years of more NDP rule. My lord.

You might be surprised at how few can stomach being a true blue conservative.
