Just bought this because it lumps in a hub with PD... one cable to rule them all!
Good monitor for office/desktop work. But that resolution is weird if you want to game with it. Many games don't support those UHD resolutions.

Which games don't support 4k? And if they don't, they'll downscale to 2k/1080p no problem since it's the same ratio.

Great find, I ordered as well. How did you even find this? It didn’t come up on the site when I was browsing around.

    anyone interested?

    LG 27GL850-B
    LG 38WN75-C

Decided to play with monitor setups and ended up with 2 27" Samsung 4K monitor (running 150% scaling so it looks 2K lol)
I don't really game anymore so I dont need 144Hz refresh, and I just can't get into UW

Which monitors did you buy? Why 4k then scaled?

had the 27 LG gaming and a 24” Dell monitor at home, wanted a more streamlined setup and these Samsung S27A804UJN were given to me from work. 100% scaling 4k on 27” is small, havent tried 125% but 150% looks exactly 2K. I also like to use one screen in portrait mode

have a 27” 2k and a 30” dell in the office but might also swap them for the same samsungs. dont know what to do with the UW though, maybe ill build another work desk at home

These Dells arrived, and they have seemed fine for my use. adjustable stand is nice, were easy to setup. Only issue is that we run one of the MS surface docks here, and they need the stupid Mini Displayport, so I needed to buy a new cable. Pretty pleased to be under $450 for two 27" QHD monitors.

Anyone looking for a 27 monitor for office use, here's one with Microphone and camera built in, which seems handy.

Lots of OLED monitors being introduced by Dell and MSI. Starting to get really tempting, need to decide between a 42" TV or a smaller 32" monitor or an ultrawide. Also more 1440p options coming out. Exciting stuff.

MSI also with a 3 year warranty against burn in. Dell with the easy exchange. Tough choices

I've been using Dell's Alienware 34" OLED for a while now, 7 months, maybe longer I need to look at the receipt. Anyhow, excellent monitor. There are some things you need to be aware of, IE running the cycle to do the pixel refresh regularly, but it really isn't nearly the PITA some make it out to be. Not for what you get in return. I have always used the very best monitors I can find, from back when Asus made the first 144hz 24" gaming LCD (or even going back to circa late 90s and the Optiquest/Viewsonic 21") right up to this Alienware unit. This 34" OLED is hands down the best gaming or otherwise monitor I've had.

One tip though, there are 2 versions of it, one is Freesync the other Gsync (Gsync has a silver back plate). The cheaper Freesync is actually the better unit as it has a glossy screen cover, which for some unexplainable reason the $200 or even more expensive Gsync omits. You lose 10 hz, 165 vs 175 but it isn't noticeable. Both on on sale pretty regularly at both Dell and Bestbuy for 999 and 1200ish respectively. I paid more for my LG 4k 27" gaming LCD than I did for the OLED just 1/2 a year apart or so.

Now as Dirtsniffer said most of the other manufacturers are spinning up some pretty good OLED units too, but I haven't checked any out yet as I've been very happy with Dell's.
