That he did not get three kills weighs on recklessness to the public. If you shoot and miss, training and accuracy comes into play. And if you are just blindly aiming, then the risk to innocent bystanders is much higher.

If he had trained, had license, proven that he was an expert marksman at a gun range with 10 years of practice. Then regardless of the legality of the fatal shots, at least there would be stronger case not as much public endangerment.

Shooting a person in the back when immobile on the ground does not count as gun accuracy.

Rittenhouse never shot anyone "immobile on the ground in the back". That was the first person he fired on, and he shot 4 rounds at him in .7 seconds, while he was closing in on Rittenhouse, and grabbing the barrel of his rifle (scorch marks on hand/arm proves that). That guy was falling after the 1st round hit him, and the 4th entered high in his back before he even hit the ground. .7 seconds happens very quickly, and Rittenhouse did what anyone trained in defensive shooting does - he fired on the threat until it was no longer a threat, and obviously tracked his target with his weapon while firing, otherwise that 4th shot wouldn't have even hit. It's not like he stood over his target once he was down, and put a bonus ball into his back. It was all shots from the same initial burst of fire, again, 4 shots in .7 seconds. And yes, the first "victim" was a threat, the use of force continuum used by all LE agencies and the military teach that anyone grabbing your firearm constitutes a use of deadly force threat against you.

As already stated, Rittenhouse had no formal training, however his performance under stress was - again - far better than the vast majority of trained law enforcement/military do in similar situations. Rittenhouse fired 8 rounds. One shot missed, all the others hit. That's an incredible hit ratio compared to the 10 to 20% hit ratio the FBI states the average LE officer gets in all shootings tracked by them.

There is no "license" to get in the USA, and even without training Rittenhouse far exceeded the typical performance of trained officers, soldiers, and civilians in his engagements. I'm an advocate for training with firearms, even mandatory training, but it isn't required in the USA, and in this case, obviously not having any wasn't a factor in terms of shooting performance.

Your statement that "not getting 3 kills" proves recklessness is beyond ridiculous. You have no experience regarding the subject matter, and are only proving that you are even stupider than I am for continuing to respond to you.

It was all downhill the from the start, but where it really started dropping off a cliff is when he dropped the fire extinguisher for two hands on the gun. The upstanding thing to do would have been to hand the gun to his invader buddies when they all called it quits and went home, to use the fire extinguisher.
