Always felt the US justice system rewarded big crimes, all or nothing.

A few crimes like theft, fistfights, or setting a dumpster on fire - one or two years. If you kill someone its either life or nothing at all. Do certain demographics go for "big crime". The risk of that is that the protestors start seeing this, and start going for "big crime" because - might as well buy the AR-15 and then empty that entire AR-15 clip on Rodeo drive, before reaching for the spare. Seems like the 'defund the police' people don't realize the narratives they were pushing was a direct cause of these types of situations.

Had the cops been adequately funded and staffed, Rittenhouse and other people trying to 'protect their communities' wouldn't have had to get into these situations in the first place.

Also, having people in the higher command and civilian "oversight" boards/commissions/whatever, NOT order their department to "stand down" and do pretty much nothing, would be of great help. I'll bet every one of those officers who were just "standing by" were doing so grating their teeth, watching their town get fucked up by BLM/Antifa/idiot rioters and "mostly peaceful protesters". You don't need civilians arming themselves to defend businesses, when LE is not just properly funded, but ALLOWED to do their jobs.

Also, having prosecutors that aren't SJW fuckwits like the one in the Rittenhouse trial is likely a step towards putting and keeping rioters/et al in jail.

I know I should reply to Zenops but its been mentioned in a few places so I figured I would pose the question - has anyone read anything about that Christmas day tragedy that says it was in any way related to the Rittenhouse case? Everything that has come out about it says he was fleeing a knife fight and ended on the parade route and essentially went retarded.

Until I hear otherwise I will just chalk this up as Zenops stretching again.
