Wasn't able to track down a true cause. Nothing else showed signs of detonation besides those cracked pistons, wasn't any signs on tops of the pistons or bearings. Injectors were pulled and flowed / tested, fuel filter was good. Those 40 ish kms were logged and everything's fine there.

Would've been nice to actually point the finger at something.

Clean up the engine bay? Meh, maybe swap to a tbss intake and try to hide stuff a little more but ain't nothin' getting tucked or anything of that nature haha. Focus in the winter would be a rear end that can actually handle power so I can crank this thing up and not worry about it blowing, it's the weak point of the drivetrain and I'd rather not find that out

15" wide ET Streets... knowledge is power.

Its not like you're gonna sell the rear end anyway. Crank it up!

It's an almost new 10 bolt 8.2 from quick performance, if I don't blow it up I may be able to sell it haha.

At least he’s done more to it that I’ve done to mine this year.
