Holley swap kit and turbo log finally all came in and I went and picked up my smoothed intake.

Super happy with the holley pieces, look like good quality.

Ordered some fuel line & fittings from hotrodfuelhose.ca today, still have some other fuel components to order but it's a start.

I've been using a friends engine hoist / stand, as I didn't have either and was waiting to buy them on sale or barely used. Was able to pick up a used 2T hoist & 2T stand for a fraction of new cost, pretty happy with that find.

So much awesome going on here.

May have to get the info from you for the guy that smoothed your intake. Got one for my dodge that will need to be done in the spring.

    Thanks.

He's located in Edmonton, I'm pretty sure he ships things though. I'll send you a pm.

Had some more stuff show up. Fuel hose (8an supply 6 return), fuel pressure regulator, fittings, an wrenches, engine leveler.

Fuel hose & fittings from hotrodfuelhose.ca and im happy with the quality of the product from initial inspection and customer service.

Great to deal with and based out of Lethbridge.

Not too much planed to tackle during these days off. Only thing I want to get done is drop the old tank and get some measurements so I can get my new tank made. Might run fuel lines while I'm at it but we'll see.Name: PXL_20211202_185853785~2.jpg

I'm excited too haha. Hoping I don't make any big mistakes but time will tell.

You have some local options - probably even a few on here that could/would do it. You could just tackle it and then you could post a build thread on here and we'd have more good content

Man don’t wait, bang out as much as you can ASAP so you don’t end up like the rest of us with a project that missed a summer hahaha

It'll be finished for spring when the roads get cleaned by the rain or sweepers! That's my goal at least haha.

These days off my goal as mentioned is to get my tank diamentions off to the fabricator annnnnnd maybe run fuel lines into the engine bay. I'll be happy with the first part though.

Edit: it's getting finished - I have all the major pieces to get it together. No way I won't be driving this in the summer

Speaking as a guy whos built tons of cars, and gotten them done in a respectable amount of time... Put in one solid 8hr day a week every week and you'll be surprised how fast it comes together.

    Good advice Sentry.

I haven't touched the car since I pulled the motor/trans. I was waiting to order stuff on sale and now that's its been delivered I really don't have any excuse not to start picking away again.

Spent a little time in the garage yesterday tidying up my disaster, that's now less of a disaster.

Crawled under the car and dropped my tank while I was out there. Was also talking to my fuel tank fabricator, he let me know my fuel pumps came in, which are also from hotrodfuelhose. Went with 2 walbro 450s, which I'll likely never need that much fuel but future proofing.

We talked some more about the tank and dimensions, just waiting for another drawing from him with what he wants. I don't want to mess up the measurements and since he's in Red Deer and I'm in the Edmonton area, not like he can just pop by.

Also stripped the truck intake I have to move everything over to smoothed intake. Debating ordering new rails as it would keep the intake looking clean but we'll see, definitely not needed.

He's a buddy of mine and I've been getting these made for all my summer cars over the last 5+ years.

He sent this one out without me knowing, was a nice little surprise haha.
