I wonder how long it will take them to fix the roads, Japan would have that fixed in 36 hours. I bet these won't be fixed by the end of the month or even Christmas

Asphalt is an oil product, it should be banned. Wicker roads from now on.

A few protests will be happening first. Mourn the dirt lost. Mourn the trees that were killed. Chain a few people to surrounding trees etc. Protest their poor treatment by RCMP. So probably a few years.

Pictures from the Hope/Merrit area are insane. 240mm in 16 hours or something silly like that. It looks like our 2013 flood x 10

That's from an Assault Rain. Ban AR's, or at the very least, create a registry.

As long as they wear masks they're safe from the rain.

So the lower mainland is basically cut off. Think they'll all die out there or what? This turning into Lord of the flies when they run out of fuel?

Guess all the beyond members out there ded now?
Yep got eaten by the Abbotsford killer whale

Now call me nuts but - Alberta is isolated from it's primary port of entry... and I haven't read about any pipeline disruptions, other than sumas I think the US ports of entry are still open too so all that refined product is still coming back to BC...

Trans Mountain Pipeline was shut down as a precaution. They willl require some extensive inspections before it's back up and running I'd think. Even without damage would be a few days. Damage could mean weeks or more.

She has a huge gash on her head, looks like it goes right down to her skull. Wife sent me pics. Required 14 staples to get it closed. CT was done as well as X-rays, no broken bones. Baby seems fine but she's headed in for ultrasound right now. So far, it's only the head wound. My brother is away working but they took him offshift and have him headed home on a flight at 3pm.
Fuck! Hope she and the baby are ok.

Ok, but isn't the primary feed for Burlington ... Is it Yellowstone? Comes out of billings doesn't it? (Clearly I'm not pipeline guy).

While oil prices will rise - that pales in comparison to what Alberta's facing with no truck or rail freight heading east...

    Maybe he meant Bellingham??
The BP Cherry Point refinery supplies a huge pile to the BC coast and I don't see that being interrupted by any of this.

I don't know what to believe anymore. Maybe he did mean ontario?

Let's just nuke Vancouver and get this over with. 100km death radius centred on Granville Island should do the trick.

We need to consult with the local indigenous first.
