Who will win the F1 Championship?

Not starting another discussion. Its only for the poll. We can shit talk on the other F1 thread.

Only three races left and they are all taking place on Arrakis/Dune. Who is going to take it?
Will Max rise up and lead House Atreides with revolution of the Red Bull Freemen? Or will Hamilton and House Harkonnen clamp down?
Heighliners are on their way to deliver the cargo of F1 Cars. Will the F1 Emperors be fair and merciful over incidents that come up?
Will Thuifir Hawat (Christain Horner-Redbull) come up with a strategy to defeat Feyd-Rautha (Hamilton)? Or will Baron Vladimir Harkonnen (Toto Wolf) come up with a cunning plan?

Said it before. I think Sir Lewis takes it this year. The car/drive combo is just ridiculously fast, especially with the upcoming tracks.

If you would have asked me before Brazil it would have been an "easy Max win." Now after seeing what Mercedes have done with the engine or their rear wing which I understand RB are gathering data to protest it is now "max by a small margin."

Pretty confident Honda reliability is there and they won't be forced to take engine penalties.

Also, in hindsight it was quite resourceful of Mercedes taking a engine penalty on a sprint race weekend as they have the opportunity to marginalize the pain of starting from the back on race day more so in the event of the qualifying DQ.

A precedent has been set in terms of penalties so don't foresee any further damage to max being accessed on Friday but who knows.

I think the engine performance is a red herring. Hamilton and Bottas top speeds (clear air, same lap, no DRS) through the race was within 2kmh of each other. Hamilton only had a 5kmh advantage over max using the same comparison. The only difference between Hamilton and Bottas was corner exit, Hamilton’s setup somehow gave him much better traction out of corners. That helped him close up and get DRS more often.

The difference maker IMO was that Mercedes finally nailed the setup here that gave better hard tire performance, and rbr was caught off guard. My guess is the next race, the cars will be closer again.

Voted Hamilton, max is a amazing talent and going to win for sure at some point. I think Hamilton has been here long enough to let max make mistakes and Hamilton will capitalize on them. Either way it’s a awsome season and I’m glad this car is going out in style.

I'm cheering for Max to win but I voted for Lewis... Mercedes seems to have their car more figured out and can deploy a better team strategy (unless Bottas has more bad luck in the pits!)
