It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

In all seriousness @shakalaka just go on auto trader, kijiji, FB marketplace, etc... And look up past examples of these trucks and what they sell for. Yes, they do sell for more that the regular versions, but these late model Shleby variants all depreciate by similar %ages of the regular F150 trucks. So, unless you plan on buying it new, and then just leaving it in storage for 20 years, it isn't going to appreciate in value at all, and even storing it like that, it still probably won't go up in value.

The Shelby name isn't what it used to be, and it really hasn't been for the last 20 years.
So a little background about the Shelby brand/name … in 2007 (I think) ford released the Shelby GT500. The first car to be developed by ford SVT with the Shelby moniker. In the past Shelby’s were factory ford outfitted with Shelby goodness. Now, Shelby’s roll right off fords assembly line.

Shelby American, which is what this truck is - is classic Shelby. Take a ford and soup it up.

The ford built Shelby’s like the Gt350 and GT500 are Very desirable. So much that if you can buy a Ford produced Shelby, they've been selling much more than MSRP new and used.

This truck is not that. It’s an aftermarket Shelby and May, or may not appreciate.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

One modded, one stock? I agree, the latter will appreciate like a 964.

All he's ever done, is shown how measured his auto buying is. Why do you doubt him?

I curbed the Challengers's wheel today in a curvy drive through due to the tire slipping on ice. I guess it's time for it to go. lol

@rage2 , is there a way to receive a notification, when a subscribed poster creates a new thread in a specific sub-forum?

same truck but 4x4. perhaps a better purchase for our climate if still in the market.

here's the answer to the investment/depreciate question
