I dunno I do pipe not power lol.. the plug said 110v 40hz I thought, my giant fucking my power brick that weighs 25lbs said it needs 50-60hz on the bottom.. so I figured that could be the issue
It's wattage/ampage the laptop will require, hertz is the frequency of the power. North America is 60hz

Although I'm surprised the outlet didn't power it...sure they give about 100 or so watts out, must be a hell of a charging brick, it managed to power my Dell 65W charger but didn't charge it very fast

Yea I'm surprised as well since the output is just DC. But also why tf have a 40hz outlet when nobody on earth uses 40hz

I'm not that kind of engineer but 40hz DC power isn't real.

Entirely possible Boeing has incorrect labels too, now that I think about it.

Speaking of Mexico.....anyone ever been to Sayulita? Have a wedding next Nov. Anything to know? I've never been to Mexico and don't travel much, beside the USA. Also, we will be flying from Mexico to Orlando after the wedding any tips about the airport in Mexico

Is the wedding in a resort? There's next to nothing to know if it is.
If there's some bullshit bachelor part or guys trip to town just don't do that.

No, it's not at a resort....it seems to be a smaller surf town. They are getting married at a sweet air bnb type place that don't have enough room for all the guests.

As a generic tip, when you land in Mexico they will hand you a small piece of paper to the effect of the 'entry visa' when you land at the airport (customs). All I can tell you is don't lose it and you need that to leave the country without issues otherwise there are big problems from what I've heard. Not sure exactly what, but I big time hassle and financial consequences.

Everything is paperless in Mexico now in terms of entry visa/customs paperwork.

Sayulita is a charming little town, not a whole lot to do but surf and snorkel. Mountains are beautiful, worth venturing out for a hike or drive up into a mountain town.

The more convenient it is for them, the better ROI you’ll get on your tip. Contrary to what you seem to think, tipping is actually all about the recipient . It actually is your issue if they don’t like it, cause you’ll be wasting your money and/or getting shitty service.
All of this can be avoided by not going to Mexico.

Of course. I haven't been to Mexico since 2004 and it's unlikely I'll go again, but I've decided to take a new approach that we don't see here on beyond very often, and not simply come into the thread to shit on people's vacation spots. Weird, I know.

We could dial back all forms of "shitting on people" in general.

    Not to zero, obvs....

This attitude of camaraderie and cooperation is exactly why you are banned.

Thanks, I think we have the option to get a golf cart at our air bnb. With the 2 little ones (will be 5 and 7) I think it's a good idea. With that said, I'm going to be drinking a fair amount while there....what's the concensus on ripping around in a golf cart while one would blow over by a reasonable amount in canada??? Especially returning from the actual wedding.

Yeah they won’t care, and if they did $50 would have them on their way.
