Xmas Gifts for Chinese Parents

I need some xmas gift recommendations for chinese parents. Something they would actually like, last year I gave my MIL some tea, I recently looked in the cupboard and she did not touch it once. Also about half way through the year I made the whole family these blanket hoody things and she expressed that she wanted one however I found the exact thing at costco and bought her that instead, its still sitting in its package in the basement.

Her interests are going shopping,watching kdramas and youtube.

I know some chinese parents dont celebrate xmas at all however since our family does I feel grinchy not getting her anything from us or from santa.

This is a great idea except for that fact that my wife hates her mom and just wants her to move out of our house.

what about a massager of any sort. Massage chair, foot massager, back massager, neck massager, etc... Older Chinese people love that stuff.

Yeah I got her an ipad a couple of years ago, or rather took her to costco to get her own ipad and made sure it was all setup for her kdramas. We tried to find an actual chinese mahjong app but I cannot find one that is the actual game where you play against bots

Regarding the massage chair, I told her that I will gladly take her to costco or whereever to buy a massage chair as she really wants one but she doesnt want to buy it she wants the govt to buy it for her, she expects either to be able to claim it back on her taxes or get bluecross to pay for it she even asked the doctor for a prescription for one.

She also expects the govt to pay for her old age care home too.

Take them out for dinner and then the Ballet. Nutcracker is currently playing at the Jubilee.
Arrange for a couples home massage.
Take them for a fancy day in the mountains. Walk the storefronts, end up having dinner at a fancy place and either a overnight or drive back.

The thing is when her husband passed away she was passed on a load of money. In about 5 years I think her assets will surpass ours easily. I think she will just live in our basement either until shes too old that its unmanageable for us and then we will put her in a home or she dies. She goes to vancouver (pre covid) every 6 months for 3 months and loves it there but she wont move because she "helps" us with the kids.
