I don't know, say what you want about him but I was surprised by how classy he was after the last race losing it in the manner he did. Shows maturity and class that obviously Max will need to grow up a lot to get (contrast with him leaving the podium a race before when he thought he was wronged). I thought Lewis would be absolutely livid in the end but he behaved like a true gentleman. He walks the talk he does.
5 year ago Lewis was different, he’s definitely matured. After rosberg won, he went off about how he’s the real champion in the post race interview lol.

No, but there are "degrees" of royal honours, so it's possible to get one honour, then get "promoted", or have a separate honour awarded at a later date,

The FIA Regulations. Until it's changed, that's the rule.
The rules state "any". I'm no expert in legalese, but I'm sure that this has a distinctly different definition legally than "all"

Belgium this year , he started the race and finished the race behind SC. If Masi wants to preach safety then he should have never started the race on that day. He is joke.
I understand the commercial and financial reasons for starting the race however at some point in time you need to start to put some weight on whether this is right for the sport or not.
Entirely different circumstance. Bin an entire race due to safety in the middle of the season, vs. finish an explosive season ender with no safety concern under SC.

I mean the merc fanbois ostracized Max for accepting his trophy and leaving the stage without celebration in Jeddah claiming he was a poor sport, but your man lewis skips the post race presser altogether. Merc skips the pre-award gala.

Basically some decides that you're getting a knighthood and they announce it in June or New Year, then one of the members of the royal family give it to you at a ceremony later in the year when they have time.

It's a good thing Lewis is graceful in defeat. He's going to have to put that to a lot of use over the next while.

Man if I was getting knighted I’d be so choked if it ended up being by prince Charles rather than the queen

    Is that like being Knight-lite

And if that was the case, he should have allowed ALL lapped cars to unlap themselves, not JUST the 4 between Max and Lewis. Because in that scenario race would have been over by the time the cars had unlapped themselves.
Incorrect. See my post on page 2, there was more than enough time to let ALL lapped cars by AND for them to catch back up before the final lap. If anything Ferrari should be pissed off as Sainz likely would have had a good chance of getting Hamilton in this scenario as Sainz was on new softs and would be right behind Verstappen.

Can you post pics of your cars in the everyday thread? You got some interesting ones there.
I think i've posted a few of them between that one and the Integra thread. Nobody wants to see the other ones haha.

To be fair, Hamilton was instructed by legal to not attend the post race presser, as well as not make any comments or social media posts whatsoever until the conclusion of the protest and appeal.

That said, Mercedes refused to do the FIA season ending championship photos. Neither their f1 or formula e cars made available. Spicy.

I hope they do pursue an Appeal though, like I said nothing will come out of it, but they shouldn't just take it in the ass and shut up after a fucking gong show like the last race was.

The "any" versus "all" debate wasn't mentioned in the Stewards' decision. Which means it didn't factor into the decision. If they had said something like 'we accept Red Bull's interpretation and argument' or 'we do no accept Red Bull's interpretation and argument', then that is confirmation of the in/validity of their point. To not mention it is like saying that they're not convinced either way, but the argument from Red Bull wasn't enough to factor in.

Also, it runs counter to Masi's post-race statement in Eifel last year where he said it is a requirement for all cars to unlap under the same rule set. This established precedent for the rule and thus cemented the way the rule must be applied.

FIA opens investigation on Abu Dhabi Controversy. - It is only to establish how Max was declared as the winner.
    More of a PR investigation.
