The FIA's decision on how to restart the race
Mercedes conservative racing strategy
Latifi crashing (i.e the ghost of Frank Williams haunting the race)
Some combination of the above
Max won it fair and square.

No, but there are "degrees" of royal honours, so it's possible to get one honour, then get "promoted", or have a separate honour awarded at a later date,This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

The rules state "any". I'm no expert in legalese, but I'm sure that this has a distinctly different definition legally than "all"This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Entirely different circumstance. Bin an entire race due to safety in the middle of the season, vs. finish an explosive season ender with no safety concern under SC.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I mean the merc fanbois ostracized Max for accepting his trophy and leaving the stage without celebration in Jeddah claiming he was a poor sport, but your man lewis skips the post race presser altogether. Merc skips the pre-award gala. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Basically some decides that you're getting a knighthood and they announce it in June or New Year, then one of the members of the royal family give it to you at a ceremony later in the year when they have time.
It's a good thing Lewis is graceful in defeat. He's going to have to put that to a lot of use over the next while.
Man if I was getting knighted I’d be so choked if it ended up being by prince Charles rather than the queen
Is that like being Knight-lite

Incorrect. See my post on page 2, there was more than enough time to let ALL lapped cars by AND for them to catch back up before the final lap. If anything Ferrari should be pissed off as Sainz likely would have had a good chance of getting Hamilton in this scenario as Sainz was on new softs and would be right behind Verstappen. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. To be fair, Hamilton was instructed by legal to not attend the post race presser, as well as not make any comments or social media posts whatsoever until the conclusion of the protest and appeal. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
That said, Mercedes refused to do the FIA season ending championship photos. Neither their f1 or formula e cars made available. Spicy.

I hope they do pursue an Appeal though, like I said nothing will come out of it, but they shouldn't just take it in the ass and shut up after a fucking gong show like the last race was.

The "any" versus "all" debate wasn't mentioned in the Stewards' decision. Which means it didn't factor into the decision. If they had said something like 'we accept Red Bull's interpretation and argument' or 'we do no accept Red Bull's interpretation and argument', then that is confirmation of the in/validity of their point. To not mention it is like saying that they're not convinced either way, but the argument from Red Bull wasn't enough to factor in.
Also, it runs counter to Masi's post-race statement in Eifel last year where he said it is a requirement for all cars to unlap under the same rule set. This established precedent for the rule and thus cemented the way the rule must be applied.

FIA opens investigation on Abu Dhabi Controversy. - It is only to establish how Max was declared as the winner.
More of a PR investigation.

Or in other words, so basically we are actually going to do fuck all.“Following the presentation of a report regarding the sequence of events that took place following the incident on lap 53 of the grand prix and in a constant drive for improvement, the FIA President proposed to the World Motor Sport Council that a detailed analysis and clarification exercise for the future with all relevant parties will now take place.
“This matter will be discussed and addressed with all the teams and drivers to draw any lessons from this situation and clarity to be provided to the participants, media and fans about the current regulations to preserve the competitive nature of our sport while ensuring the safety of the drivers and officials.
Sounds like typical legalese word salad to me
