it was me.
It could easily be anti-Russian sabotage, or Russia trying to garner support from it's people after the whole "mobilization" thing. "See what the enemy has done! This is an attack on Russian property and therefore Russia!"This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

If only there was a country out there with unlimited natural resources and energy that could supply Europe with war-free oil and gas.
If only.

This. Spike the price. Show that they're not willing to negotiate to turn the gas back on. Putin is signaling he's ready to go all-in on Ukraine. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Russia is thought to have sabotaged the subsea cable to Svalbard which is used for data feeds to the ISS as well... while I think all of our governments feed us excess propaganda I can't see a Western Government doing that given the risk of info leaks.

Y'know.
Correct me if I'm wrong: But this is a play by Putin to show that he is sending as much gas as Europe wants to buy through the line at his end. It may just be Europe refusing to open their lines at their end because its too "expensive".
Main media seems to be pointing at Putin shutting off the taps. Reality may simply be that Europe is too cheap to keep its poorer citizens from freezing. Not sure myself.

If the Russians are involved then we can attribute this to both malice and stupidity.
This pipeline is really close to the newly opened Baltic gas pipeline and we all know how competent Russian special ops are. Oops!
They were probably TRYING to destroy the new Baltic pipe and got Nord Stream by accident.
As much as Europe wants to blame Russia and Russia blaming Europe.
Never discount that the USA might have sabotaged. Its what they do best - scramble things up and take stuff when its all over. USA getting a chunk of Ukraine would be far better than renting out airfields in Turkey.

Sabotaging it now would have probably just encouraged NATO to give Ukraine the additional support they should already be getting.
USA under Biden does appear to be aligning with European elites, and not European citizens.
Which is surprising to me.

Well, you could say that Putin is a thug and bully. Or you could say that Ukraine are thieves and drug dealers. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Is it right to punch a thief, even if they are stealing from their own citizenry? #1 Corruption nation depending on who you ask, which is huge considering there is still the entire continent of Africa they beat out. Somali pirate is nothing compared to Ukrainian politician.
If you don't trust Putin, you should definitely not trust Zelensky. It is the same dilemma as way back when: Trust Stalin or trust Hitler. The correct move would be to trust neither.
