if I walk into mcdonalds and let them know I've imposed a price cap on cheeseburgers, I wonder how that will go?

LNG exports are just ratcheting up.
Don't worry! Not by Canada. They're outta that game.

Edit: Canada was never in the game.

what's fun, is that some of the molecules some from Canada, they just have a 4000km+ distance to travel to get to the export terminals on the Gulf Coast. So we get paid a hefty discount to account for that transport hassle.

I think this is what led OP to the article in the first place.

"Due to rising living costs, she already plans to not switch on the heating later this year, in fact – she has not since 2018 – and instead will spend the cold months under a blanket on the couch, not inviting anyone in."

Lies. All lies. Our honourable Prime Minister said there's no business case so that's just not possible.

Let's sell the UK lumber to burn for heat and not LNG. Great idea.
BC's gonna burn anyways so might as well profit first.

Well... We do have a lot of excess lumber. Its Biofuel of course. Realistically not much different then burning corn cobs.

Arguably though, We should be burning trees to make fuel for moon rockets on this continent.
