I suppose that the price can "jump" while still trending down, but serious Bloomberg, get your shit together.
Welcome to the world of financial media. They'll recommend both sides of the tape at the same time and then pat themselves on the back for making the correct call after the fact.

British pound got hammered. Probably a combination of factors.

There is nothing contradictory about the two headlines.

I don't have the internet so I can't watch that youtube, but is it about the expansion of the Spain-to-France natural gas pipeline? Am I reading right that most of that gas comes from LNG imports on the Spanish coast?
That's going to be pretty expensive by the time it hits French power plants and factories.

It's partly about that but more about the constant conflicts between Spain / Morocco / Algeria and how there's a gas pipeline from Algeria to Spain and a gas pipeline from Algeria to Spain via Morocco. But Algeria and Morocco hate each other so Algeria wouldn't export to Spain via that pipeline. Spain and Morocco hate each other but still have all sorts of commerce between each other. And now, Spain somehow decided to hate on Algeria even though that's where all of the gas was coming from and now Spain is importing LNG and exporting gas to Morocco in the pipeline that used to connect Algeria to Spain via Morocco (even though they hate each other?)

Basically, they're like a bunch of teenage girls in High School fighting over the guy who will probably end up in prison.

No sense risking a virus from those scammers. Boomers are afraids.

Edit: A clever zinger should have been here, but it requires all caps and that's against the law.

Looks like Russia might have sabotaged nordstream. Leaking in a few places.

Maybe in response to the US Samraam delivery?

Why would they damage their own infrastructure?

More leverage against Europe right as we are about to head into winter.

Yea but it's Russia, they could just say they have maintenance issues, can't ship. Rather than actually putting holes in a subsea pipeline.

Really suspect. It's not like they were actually shipping much if any gas through the pipelines.
