I got a tornado warning pushed to my cell (Thornecliffe). Time to take the ol FRS out and hope I can get a new car under insurance???
Sorry for being an insufferable retard, but why do people always say this? I guess I haven't lived down south long enough to understand, but insurance always sucks taint, so why do I keep hearing stories about this?
Should I back my Ferrari out of the garage, or my rusty Mazda 3? Or both?
Or neither? It doesn't seem like a profitable venture.

My car is a ugly piece of shit track car that’s been repainted and already has hail damage, I just need more to make it worth claiming to get some cash back for it.

Got some hail in the north (largest was smaller than dime-sized) and a lot of rain but pretty brief.

I could see the appeal with a camper trailer thing. "Ooohhhh nnoooooes¡!!1!!1! The roof is gotta dents!!" Gets giant cheque. Buys salvage back at scrap price. Uses* forever.
*Once per year to go to South Cooking Formerly Lake Slough Stink. Gets alcohol poisoning. Wife blows some gross skinner.

It's not always good. But I've had A LOT of hail claims and they've been a clear net positive for me.

Helps if your vehicle is not at all special.

That's what you get for accepting a carbon tax refund yesterday.

I immediately donated it to the climate emergency, and it's only 22°c at my house.

Already being 10:32 AM not July 16. 31 at 10:32 is a bit unusual.

I'm a climate creator after the 1/2 cord of wood I burnt over the past week in the mountains.

The sky just turned black and it’s still really hot outside. Made the mistake of checking the hail radar website. RIP, it’s been nice chatting with you all.

Yeah, big things are happening in multiple areas. Good luck to all those who love hail.

10 and above is my personal line for "could make serious hail". So lots of that out there.

You mean beyond meet in crossiron parking lot NW corner, right? Most exposed spot.
