Ended up pulling a Hail Mary drive to kelowna and back yesterday to grab our daughter....roads were in good shape along #1 but turned into a skating rink as soon as you turn south at Sicamous. Had been watching flights get delayed/cancelled out of Kelowna the last couple of days and just couldn't let it spiral anymore. glad to have her home for the holidays. Studded Duratracs on the raptor FTW.

That sounds like a pretty ideal vehicle for a winter road trip through the mountains.

Derpatracs are probably my favourite all terrain for Canada. Good off road but not useless on ice like most ATs

Stony Trail West was brutal this morning and almost shared bumpers with someone because their lights weren't on and the blowing snow made them vanish.

If I come across one more father-fucker driving in the City with their hazard lights on I may have to ram them off the road.

WTF... I thought this was just a highway driving thing but last night some guy was going about 15-20 km/h with his hazards on leaving Mahogany. I mean if you are having trouble driving faster than that on icy roads, probably best to just turn around and go home?
