Alternate rain and bright sun. Should have planted boreal forest this year.

Total shit weather this year man. So sick of this. 3 days of blazing heat we had last week. Now cloudy+ rain forecast for most days next week. Time to toss more grass seed down? lol

    During the fall/winter I agree.

Spring/Summer have never been like this in the ~7 years I've been out here though. Typically have always had nice weather starting in mid March, hitting high 20-30s daily without a drop of rain from late June through August.

I spend a lot of time in Vancouver, and I just don't get what people think is amazing in order to justify the suicide inducing weather. Seawall walks? I know many people in both cities, and my straw poll observations are that people in Vancouver are far more glum and sad than in other places. And yet they still seem to think the lower mainland is some sort of magical place. It's a big mystery to me.

Isn't there some sort of tax we can pay to avoid this?

I think we can combat it by converting all our wind turbines into LNG powered fans to blow the smoke back over BC

I think the flood barrier should be made as tall as that berm to block the view of the river from Sunnyside residents.

    It's for their protection afterall.

I would give up memorial between center and 10th to ensure the disease that is sunny side never spreads.

Use Sunnyside as a stormwater retention pond, raise the entire width of memorial drive to form the barm, and it'll be like a beautiful causeway between two bodies of water.

We can hold the heritage classic there if we get bleachers.
