The issue is there are a lot of glare ice intersections. Aside from studs no winters are going to really like that and rubber hates -30 temps.

The trusty Duratrac's are a bit out of their league on the ice but it's impossible to stop the Ridgeline regardless. The AWD and traction control system is amazing but boring. I truly miss being able to slide around every corner like my old Ram

Nearly dead Blizzaks have been fine.

The Michelin CCs have been great too. And you can corner properly with them.
Our Michelin CC has been surprisingly good considering what the tread pattern looks like and that it's an all weather tire.

I got home to find this waiting for me. Nice. When Duramaxes get cold they leak out of the oil filter. I've never had this happen to any of mine before, but I know it's something that can happen.

Some forecasts are calling for -4 on Monday and the gc.ca website is calling fro plus 12. wtf?
I can’t believe this variance is still holding… enviro Canada is usually pretty accurate, my head and joints are currently agreeing with a big swing that aligns with their much warmer weekend too

It's actually the same group that does AFE's for large city projects.
It's a thankless job but somebody's gotta make a number up.

I feel very lucky to not be affected by large swings like that.

If they aren't rutted, they are bladed into a nice rink like surface, probably better than that found at Rogers Arena.

Just did a hydrogen peroxide sinus rinse (1.5:1 distilled water to HP), god damn invigorating. Feel great now (4:1 might be less painful tbh haha)

Nasal rinses are the greatest life hack. I mix steroids into mine, never tried peroxide.

It’s a pretty uncomfortable rinse, but the results are great, got to get it all the way up and over into the throat. Clears up the whole head, ears had a good pop… that was nice, they’re a trouble spot for me
