Maybe we just need really high road taxes, toll roads, traffic ticket revenue etc to make driving more expensive! Use that money to fund snipers, who kill anyone who looks poor.

Yeah I always found it amusing that my mud terrain tires were perfectly adequate by BC standards despite being worse on ice than your average all-season.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Winter driving + BC = shit show like I've never seen before. 1cm snow and people here are driving 10km/h with flashers on. I try and stay home on those days. You're bound to get smoked by a driver with an N sticker on their car.

It's obviously not like that in PG or Golden or Kitimat, etc.

Haven’t driven out far (yet) but I’m going to guess with temps colder than yesterday, that’s an easy yes. Not bad in residential, lots of packed snow here that’s not terribly icy. It’s the main roads that were problematic last night. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Yea the packed snow was fine this AM. It basically snowed late enough that it got packed down fine.
Good performance winter day for me as the sharp tread and stiff sidewalls cut into it like butter.

Saw an all season driver creeping to a stop sign at 5kmh intending to roll it, then hit their brakes when they saw someone coming and slide a full car length into the road like a curling stone. So yeah, today was a stud day, the morning at least. The sun may have softened up the packed ice by now
