    Up a couple %. Thats without the "Climate impact" tax I'm sure will come on property tax assessments in 2023.

    Bought in May. Assessment was 13% over sale price. Just revised to 2% over sale price.

    I'll take it.

    Up 6.6%. Probably higher than market value, but not so much that it's worth my time to dispute.

    Overall, I'm no more or less impressed with the CoC than I was before (still think they're a bunch of inept parasites).

    Ours went up by roughly $30k. Not going to fun come tax time.

    Not as high as some of you get. Around 5%.

    I wonder the higher assessment is to offset lack of revenue from the core.

    Up by $41k which is pretty close to market value based on the last few houses that sold around me. Still sucks though.

    Well, that and the spending. Gotta get that Quebec religious rights support money from somewhere.

    Anticipate seeing consistent (larger) increases in taxation rate too. Rocky View County, here I come.

    Up 8.8% from last year... I'm not looking forward to the tax increase.

    This City Council has fewer fiscally responsible Councillors on it than the previous one, so taxes will increase.

    For comparison:

    CoC = $2337.94

    CoE = $3040.70

    CoRD = $3,267.76

    Lacombe = ~$3600.00

    Sylvan Lake = ~$3000.00

    Wetaskiwin = ~$4100.00

    Beaumont = ~$3200.00

    That is at least two data attributes away from being useful information.

    Avg +3.8% for all the wealthy real estate owners.
    I also love how Gondek doesn't even have the ability to speak to media first about this announcement.
    Must be worried about covid increases lol
