Piastri will be at McLaren regardless next season, if the contract dispute goes Alpines way then they’ll end up getting a payout from McLaren to settle things, with millions on the table you can bet they’ll fight it. No chance Piastri goes to Alpine for one year and then refuses to resign and leaves anyways.

Some small ish rumours of Gasly to Alpine and Herta to AT but Herta doesn’t have a super license so that wouldn’t work without some kind of exemption or a ton of practice hours to get him the points needed

Ok? Is there a reason for inserting random unrelated F1 tidbits?

Gasly to alpine makes sense. Colton Herta would be very very interesting to watch in F1

RBR is on a class of it's own.
They have opened up a Pretty decent gap.
Time to focus on 2023 car

When I said McLaren is going to pay people barked at me.
They have already paid DR and now they will be paying Alpine.
I am a McLaren fan but this is shitty way to run the team. Especially when they are in Financial trouble.

They'll get some savings because Piastri will be a cheap-ish rookie, but ultimately McLaren is probably on the hook for north of 40M next year with Norris around 20M and DR around 20M (presumably). That's a decent chunk of change for a midfielder. Probably more than RBR even after Checo's extension.

But in all fairness, they already had the second highest driver payroll next top Mercedes, so the addition of Piastri's salary might just be a drop in the bucket for them.

Alonso waves to Lewis as he retires: https://streamable.com/u56m27

Lewis' response was perfect and he owned full blame. With this kind of a gap, these types of moments are the only thing worth tuning in for anymore. #drama

Quite the performance by max. Only 3 qualy laps yesterday on 2 sets of tires and then just ripped through the field today
Leclerc getting the 5 second penalty for 1 km/h speeding in the pitlane

I feel like Alonso’s comments when it comes to Hamilton are closer to bitter than trolling.

Red Bull is looking amazing max specifically. What was the deal with Riccardo, he was sitting good in 8-9 I can’t remember. Then they didn’t put him and finishes 13-15. He was ahead of lando for half the race.

Apparently there was a problem with the sensor they use for pit speed control, due to over heating.

Oh ya what a failure that was calling him to pit and almost lost it to Alonso on the track, then lost it through mistakes. Ferrari can’t help themselves anymore.

Just what I was thinking. Theres transmissions of Leclerc saying it was too risky and he thinks they shouldnt do it, but they do it anyways.

You wonder how a well funded team of experienced professionals can so consistently fuck up the strategy

It keeps costing them points not that they have a chance of first, but I expect Mercedes’ to be a tough battle for second in the constructors championship.

This weekend will be more interesting, I’d like to see haas back in the mid field to see mags out the beat down on mick. I was so wrong with the drivers moving around at the beginning of silly season.

Because they're more concerned with putting people in positions based on nepotism and the requirement that they are full blood Italian, than they are with winning.
