The fact that Hamilton has gained more positions from where he qualified this year(6th in ranking) than Alonso (10th in ranking) seems to disprove his inability to race from anywhere but first place.

Most wins are made from qualifying first, so not incorrect. It's quite rare to see a win without being in the first two rows of a race at a minimum. So Ham wins not from pole are mostly from the front two rows. I think there are like 2 in his career where it did it from further back than 6th on the starting grid, same for everyone else though too.

Although this weekend is Ham's fault, take a look at any other wheel to wheel action with Alonso v Hamilton, and compare against Alonso v anyone else. Alonso is definitely still salty, probably about 07 haha.

Yeah they’ve said they don’t plan to renew Latifi, so I’d guess he’s out unless something falls through and they don’t get the driver they have their eye on.
