Ferrari is still looking very good, especially leclerc. I’m more of a sainz fan though.
Red Bull is neck and neck with Ferrari but mostly based on verstappen’s ability. Bottas had a amazing run in the Alfa showing the Ferrari power but it was the middle sector that was all handling that Ferrari had amazing pace I guess qualifying tmr will show true pace.

Mercedes still behind but Hamilton is hiding it for sure he didn’t use drs and let off before the line. But the car looks really rough down the straight.

F1tv is great video quality compared to tsn. I like the sky broadcast team though.

I think Ferrari is front runner for WCC but Verstappen is still probably front runner for WDC. I don't think Perez will be solid enough for RBR to have a chance at the WCC.

I don't think Hamilton is even hiding things at this point, not using DRS and letting off looks because their car is still struggling with the high speed ground effect issues and they're probably trying to tune what they can in the corners and hope they can revise the aero within a couple races. I don't think they're sandbagging for Bahrain anymore but rather trying to protect the car/driver at this point.

Front runners for sure, things will change fast though. It’s a very realistic statement, I still think Mercedes’ will turn the engine up for qualifying but the car doesn’t look good. Ferrari engine cars have been fast so far, compared to Mercedes’ engine cars.

I don't know who is sandbagging or not, Merc definitely looks like they're having some problems. But if Haas ends up in a legit midfield fight, I will shit my pants.

First race of the season kicks off tomorrow in Dune. The instagram hunnies will be out in full swing.
Insteresing start to qualifying, Ferrari and Red Bull leading the charge.. BUT... can they keep it in the race? Mclaren is doing what Mclaren does. It reminds me of the days when Mclaren Peugot were together. Kinda like if Redbull and Lada teamed up. Im actually suprised manufacturers of Magnum Ice cream have not sponsored Magnessen... oh the marketing opoortunities...
This will be the season where we see Lord Russell showing us his greatness. You heard it here first..

Just as mclaren was crawling out of the basement… they crawl right back in, hopefully they go have some upgrades in the works to get out quick …

Fuck sakes, both my teams down the shitter this season it seems like (McLaren and Merc). I do like Leclerc so happy for him and Ferrari. Ultimately as long as RBR and Assholetappen doesn’t win, I am fine with it.

I was really hoping AM would come up with a good design and be competitive this year but looks like they completely dropped the ball.

HAAS on the other hand managed the ultimate plan by securing a bunch of Russian Oligarch money to design a sweet car, then drop the Oligarch and the pay-driver and have two solid drivers. As long as the lawyers drafted up the contracts well, Uralkali shouldn't have much recourse either. Hopefully Mick can learn some things from Kevin...

I dislike Ferrari as a team for all their history of preferential treatment and I always seem to prefer underdog teams but I am a big fan of LeClerc and Sainz so happy to see them running fast. Possibly the best driver pairing for consistently close lap times between the two of them yet neither have risked putting the other into the wall through racing for position... yet. Hope that continues to be the case.

Biggest winner for me is Bottas. Amazing he managed to out-qualify "Mr. Saturday" in an Alfa Romeo. I'm sure Merc will have a faster design/upgrade cycle than AR though so I'm doubtful it will last. Wouldn't be surprised if Russell/Bottas end up in the wall today when Georgie tries to prove himself!!

Gutted for Danny Ric. Looks like it will be another tough season for him and perhaps the end of his driving career with McLaren in a couple of years.

Another McLaren year. Good times lol.

I don't mind Max. He's a great driver, but he often ruins racing with his over aggressiveness in every single track battle. From what I'm hearing the new race director has issued new passing rules, which looks to be closing off the Max aggressiveness. Race control won’t tell teams to give place back for gaining an advantage. Teams have to decide on their own, if they’re wrong, they get penalty. Teams aren’t allowed to back and forth with race control on if they should give place back, but they can give a reason as to why they’re not giving place back. One way only, no debating. Driver has to give place back within a lap, after which it’s open for penalty. Driver alongside is no longer at entry, but at apex. If they’re alongside at the apex, inside must leave car’s width for car on outside, can’t force them off track. Will be interesting to see how it's applied and how consistently it's applied.

As a McLaren fan, anything but Ferrari. But honestly, in the Vettel championship years, and last year, it's reminded me why I hate RBR as a team. Or maybe it's Horner and Marko fake news combo that just makes them very unlikeable. So for today, as a McLaren fan, I'm cheering for a Ferrari win to beat RBR.
