The entire team, management and their driver (except Checo) is an absolute shit show. That's what you got for letting a fucking energy drink team be a team on its own. There should be a rule that the main sponsor/team name gotta be an automotive manufacturer or something...it's fucking F1 after all.

Funny that while watching the World Cup in Spain last night they still had Mapfre (insurance) commercials with Alonso in Alpine gear, which I understand is the reason AM couldn't put him in a sponsored car - not sure when his Alpine Sponsorship contract or his other personal sponsor contracts will run out but presumably they need to before the start of next season.

There must be some nuances to individual contracts. For some reason Gasly was able to jump right into a branded Alpine, but Alonso had to drive a plain car.

I suspect it has to do with team sponsor contracts vs driver ones. Gasly, like Alonso, had to drive in a blank racing suit. Maybe Aston's sponsor deals only lasted to the end of the season and Alpine's go to the 31st?
