It’s difficult to be that miserable when oil is breaking $81 dollars.

Can we get some concrete examples to help with the catharsis? Like what is it about your kids that makes you miserable. I thought kids were supposed to bring joy.

FWIW I think people are supposed to be most content in late age so there's something to look forward to. If that makes me optimistic then I guess I'm just here for the schadenfreude.

My dad was making babies from age 25 to 60. But that's basically grandparent duty by the end.

Kids make your life miserable because they take up all of your time, energy and money

Then I wouldn’t suggest trying it at 40. Ughh.

Why did you start a thread for what basically constitutes ALL of Beyond, and every Beyond thread?

I can't think of a single member that doesn't come off as a miserable fucker. Except maybe Kenney, but only because he doesn't post very often.
Coupe cant be miserable, hes got perfect kids and is on the way to 7.2 milly

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

I'm miserable because having kids when i was in my mid 30's is exhausting.
Look at the bright side, you didn't throw your life away having them in your 20's. But having kids at any age is pretty life and soul sucking.

    I'm happy as a clam.
I'm pretty happy most of the time, until I read Beyond threads. Then I'm miserable like the rest here.

Is this the lineup for Les Miserables?

    *upbeat, perky smile*
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

Good lord. I already feel bad that most of the time I have to tell my son I'm not interested in nerf wars or boxing with him. And I'm only 46. I can't imagine if I had to do it when I was 60. That miserable fucker.
