That TruCoat - you don't get it, you get oxidation problems. It'll cost you a heck of a lot more than $500.

I've been saying dealers have been doing exactly this with every car hitting the lot. Optional add ons are no longer optional. Worst part on these add ons are how crazy expensive they are if someone doesn't do a bit of research.
My dealer for my truck quoted me $1900 for 3M that another place would only charge $700.
Great buy congrats. I enjoyed my time with the ZR2 and sometimes think about picking another up as a daily. I love the colour too. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Thank you @shakalaka
Dealership laundry list:
BAD
Shaw GMC Calgary - inflated financing interest way beyond what TD Auto, Scotia, and RBC asking and 6 months locked
Northgate Chevrolet Buick GMC Edmonton - $6,000 withholding deposit for 6 months on top of $2,500 order deposit
Wheaton Chevrolet of Red Deer - Inflated pricing on options, inaccurate bi-weekly payments
Ron Hodgson Chevrolet Buick GMC of St. Albert - $4,500 ADM, all accessories grossing up to $20K over MSRP
Stadium Nissan - 'mandatory' forced dealer add-ons which adds additional 10% to the vehicle cost
Fish Creek Nissan - see Stadium Nissan
Cochrane Nissan - 'mandatory' highway package, theft which adds an additional 5% to the vehicle cost
GOOD
Wolfe (GSL) Chevrolet Calgary - $2,000 off MSRP, optional dealer add-ons at discounted price
Jack Carter GM Calgary - MSRP, optional dealer add-ons
I had purchased my ZR2 without seeing it from Jack Carter as well. Great experience overall.

There are 2 2021's I was eyeing at Jack Carter with performance cat-back exhaust installed - Sand Dune Metallic and Orange Crush in color.
We bought our ZR2 used, but the original/1st owner bought it from Jack Carter as well. If we decided to buy a new truck/suv from GM for next winter, it'll be from Jack Carter too if in any way possible.
Hey do you mind me asking who the sales person was that you dealt with at Wolfe?

Let him know Jay sent you so he is aware.
Awesome, will do
Went in to discuss a factory order on a full size SUV and the forced dealer add-ons were almost $7k lol...hard pill to swallow. Basically was told if I don't want to pay that they won't sell me a vehicle, keep in mind it would be a factory order with 6-9 month wait not immediate delivery.
