That should be the Police Interceptor package. Mad max style.

Heat wrapped my downpipe and installed it for good
Built a quick "muscle car style" (aka lazy fuck style) exhaust that dumps in front of the axle. If this is unbearable I'll build a tailpipe out to the bumper with a glasspack or something.
Did a bunch of cutting in the nose of this and was able to stuff my intercooler above the frame rails and behind the grille just like I wanted. A plastic trim panel covers it and the rad support up top.
It is a bit obvious. If the grille is easy to remove I may give the intercooler a quick black spraybomb to hide it a bit better.
You should be painting some bright red or pink to stick with the lipstick theme
I like that you at least take the time to run the exhaust towards the back of the car. I know it’s very popular to exit turbo exhaust somewhere at the front or out the hood, but I can’t see how that isn’t really bad for fumes, when cruising with a window down.
Edit: +1 for painting the intercooler black

I like neat cars.
Turbos love short exhausts. But I think if you're under 500whp there's no reason to do a hood/fender/bumper exit besides laziness. You aren't giving up much power, if any.
Awesome progress, that pig is going to be fun to play around with.
Looking killer.
I see you still have your plasma table! (I came to look at it) I bought a new ShopSabre 5x10 w/ Powermax 105. Let me know if you want a control retrofit, could be a nice machine!
Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.
Yeah we are too insanely busy for me to have a day with it to get it up and running lol.
I love the intercooler the way it is behind the grille.
I second this. Cool project! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Decided to finish my exhaust out to the bumper, had an extra V band I already paid for anyway.
Built a good proper cold air intake for the turbo, and built my hotside intercooler pipe.
Built my cold side bumper pipe, a little rusty on the aluminum tig... but better than a lot of guys I see call themselves fabricators lol.
Ended up having to chop that since it didn't want to install as one piece, too tight. I try to build intercooler kits with as few pieces as possible, since a weld is a better joint than a silicone coupler, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
And all done up top with MAF flange welded on. Just missing a 45 degree coupler I'll get for next weekend.
Nice work.
Installed injectors today
And re mounted ABS and PCM
Just did a little testing around the block and the stock MAF will absolutely not cut it, so ordered a HPX MAF which should support plenty of power in this setup. Can start hitting some boost when that arrives.
Installed wideband and boost gauge today. I like to make my own gauge cups out of stainless, low profile so it can hug the column unlike the bulky plastic cups that usually come with gauges.
That looks great
Great work as always with your projects.
If I was still in the Calgary area, I'd be looking for help with my project
Assembled the bomb tonight. It's an 034 Motorsport surge tank with an oldschool Bosch 044 inside it. I'd never go this route these days, but I bought this literally 10 years ago for my Aristo and never used it because the stock pump was enough on that car. Every other car I just stick an intank walbro in it.
Found some little presents in the windshield cowl. These are casings from simunition training ammo.
Mounted and wired the fuel surge tank. I'll build some fuel lines next weekend.
Installed the VMP MAF sensor.
Threw a resonator into the tailpipe just to take the edge off the exhaust note while cruising.
And some pre-boost maintenance. Colder plugs, oil change, and a fuel filter. Lots of people overlook the fuel filter when modifying a car and then scratch their heads why their car keeps going lean when it hits boost. At higher mileage they can get pretty plugged up with sediments, etc.
Hit a little boost today and had to test if it improved its burnout ability.
And that's how you build a turbo car in one short month.
I can't rep you right now.
But you're officially my favourite beyonder.
