Its worth noting that if the UK does split apart (more than it already is split apart), they will need a place to park their nuclear submarines.
I'd assume that it would take a couple decades and at least 100 Billion dollars to build one on Canadas coastline. Not only that, but our coastline geographically sucks ass for a submarine base (Bay of Fundy, where the tides go up and down so much each day, that anything tied to shore would be beached by noon)
Assuming however, that in said event of UK breakup. The south "rich" monarchy part will probably be able to give up British territory to Canada in exchange if they are that desperate.
Parking nuclear submarines in Australia to get rid of them is probably not an option, as it appears that the USA has already done it.
As a side note: Kim Jong will probably park his nuke sub within range of Florida. It does not make sense to park it on the California side.

Cocoa $10,000 per ton.
Should Poland invade Ukraine (on assumption they would invade to make sure Putin does not get)? Might find out soon enough.
Independant nations always get the shaft.
Cocoa $10,000 per ton.
Looks like the USA might get $0 back if Ukraine is dissolved. War is a gambit. Putin stretching it out to see how much cutlery and dinner plates the USA is willing to put onto a sinking ship?

Zelensky takes vacation to USA. Or at least a business trip to try and get more weapons. I'm a little surprised the US didn't give, but not really since is split between democrat and republican now.

Natural gas back to pre-war pricing
No doubt due to price cap imposed by EU. Will this cause Canada to go bankrupt? Probably not, maybe.

Now this is just smart. Who wants to pay tax? It's obvious that a soldier would often be given cash and valuable merchandise as voluntary rewards for thier heroic humanitarian work.Soldiers, police, members of the security services and other state employees serving in the four regions no longer have to supply information on “their income, their expenditure, their assets”, according to the decree.
Russian forces in Ukraine also have the right, according to the decree, to receive “rewards and gifts” if they are of “a humanitarian character” and received as part of what Russia calls a “special military operation” in Ukraine. Tax relief also applies to the partners and children of those serving and is back-dated to February 24, 2022 – the date Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine.

Canada already does this for named overseas operations, no income tax, be it 30 days or X months. Russia is just late to the game. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
But are they entitled to receive "gifts". Probably from thankful Ukrainian families as they flee.....
There is a small chance that 2023 will be the year of the bank run. I always thought that five big banks for Canada was two too many.
