No idea. 1/7 lives under poverty line in Russia. 1/3 in Iran under sanction. I would assume the amount of Russians not rich enough or connected enough to get out of Russia will increase if this sanction goes on long enough.

Poverty and human trafficking goes hand in hand.

    Also pretty good episode tonight.

Well free immigration for Ukrainians has to be putting a dent in that particular market.

@Buster how many family members are on their way right now?

My father in law was born in Germany because his mother moved from Ukraine to Germany during the war. They then emigrated to Canada (Winnipeg) when he was a baby.

So nobody that I have ever met in my wife's family has even set foot in Ukraine and none of her family knows anywhere there. This is my beef with people talking about their "heritage". It's meaningless.

My parents moved from a country to this one. I have living relatives in that old country, whom I have met. I have living relatives in other countries whom I have also met.

Wait what was I talking about?

That was a way less funny outcome than I was hoping for.

Good video. About 1/3 of the way through, but the brown guy is a fucking idiot.

Plus, a blockade is a declaration of war. I would argue economic blockades, blocking their oil, money etc without some sort of international law decision, or UN agreement, seems to me that Canada blocking Russias banks, justifies them hitting us economically, lets say blombing 3 of our biggest ports.

At 32 minutes, the one guy suggested, lets just guarantee that Ukraine cannot join Nato for 10 years, and the rest of them just dismissed it as too late, and blew it off. But it hasn't been tried and HAS to start there.

So many people are controlled by media that it's scary. Paint Putin as the bad guy but don't get me wrong, it's not fair the innocent people are dying in the Ukraine but what's the reasoning that some media outlets have been caught showing pictures of bloodied people in the Ukraine from something that happened many years ago?

Nobody cared about Yemen, Iraq or Palestine when innocent people were being killed but hey, the news didn't tell you to.

pretty well all the incidents from the Ukraine are faked and simple minded propoganda, from "10x worse than cehrnobyl, to the ghost pilot, to russian troops thought it was a a training exercise... lol.

Russia could flatten Ukraine in a night, but they haven't even sent bombers yet.

Russia wants the deal they asked for, and will punish Ukraine slowly until they get it. Destroying it and occupying it are not goals.

Visa and Mastercard punish all Russians. Not surprising given that Amazon was a phone call away from rejecting Visa in the UK in peacetime.

Ruble is definitely is a dire situation compared to the British pound, even so.
