UN emergency meeting.
Honestly though, compared to all the US instigated million casualty wars - this one is extremely tame, almost a sleeper by comparison. May 9th may hold a surprise though.

At the rate russia is losing vehicles, curious what their May day parade is gonna look like this year. Couple old T34s and some stolen Benzes from Odessa?
Couple of T-16's back home they could clean the wamp-rat guts off.

I'm going to say standard military tactic that you always send on your cheap and expendable units first.

Looks like USA is gearing up to sanction India next. Very questionable ethics ahead, if its wasn't NotZ before - it sure is looking NotZ now. If bread doubles in price in the USA, its an inconvenience, but it could be deadly in India.
If the US sanctions Africa, the veil will be completely removed.

Could both Putin and NATO want this to be a 20+ year war? The easiest way for Putin to retain power, would be to have a war until he passes. NATO would have a reason for extra funding for decades.
So Yes.

This is why the world has woken up to the authoritarianism of the US dollar and has moved to trade beyond the US and the conditions dictatorship that come with it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Obvious question on the table now is: Should NATO raise its rates from 2% GDP, to 3% or 5% GDP. Any should anyone who dare and doesn't pay - be kicked out.
Could have seen Ukraine war starting the second that the twenty years Afghan war was over - and NATO nearly hitting irrelevancy.
There are times that I think Putin is being funded by NATO under the table.

Ukraine has now lasted longer than France in WW2.
Cheese eating, surrender monkeys are not the high water mark in holding off an army.
This is the comparison I didn't know I needed today. Thanks! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

So, just saw a video where a group of Ukrainian soldiers are just standing there and get taken out by a nearby advancing tank they apparently thought was theirs. That was a bit disturbing, but the aftermath video is far more disturbing. Literal limbs all over the place, and torsos and heads in various state of completeness.
There's some footage of many other wars circulating around, but between the brutality of this one and modern recording/distribution methods, I think I've now seen all I ever wanted to see (and more) from a battlefield.
In war, everything is a false flag.
Never give up a sheltered position, the new guy claiming to be on your side - probably isn't on your side.

It was interesting living in the Middle East as news channels showed everything. Decapitated bodies. Dead children. Living skeletons on the verge of death from hunger. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I often reflect on how blood and guts are acceptable in Western culture on movies/video games but not in real life. Can't help but think we're all a bit desensitized to the impact of a lot of our foreign policies because of it.

I've never seen helicopter parenting result in a mature child capable of handling real life challenges but I guess that's why "big government" with all their promises of keeping young adults in a cushy safety net are so popular these days.
