Thought Vancouver has already crossed that point for premium.
It has lol...Ive been paying that for a couple weeks now, good thing I only drive 2-3 times a week (pre $2 threshold, was only buying about $25 worth of premium gas a week for '12 135i).

Don't know how much this will impact international oil prices.

Will fuck European natural gas supplies, but Canada has no connection to those.
If it affects the USA it will affect us.

Well in general high energy prices are good for Albertans.

That's gasoline and not natural gas.

But if Germany is desperate enough to get some of Japan's LNG and Japan/Korea are about to get some LNG from us via Coastal Gaslink next year, that seems to points to NG price will trend higher in the short/mid term?

    Need ES's take on this.

Will we get high gas prices if we aren't exporting it?

We get a smaller slice of it, but it's a benefit. We do export some volume of Natural Gas. Not as much as we would if we wanted to displace dirtier forms of energy worldwide . . .

Damn that escalated quickly. I really don't know Putin's end game here. As much as I dislike what Ukraine has become, I don't see how invading it is really going to change anything for the better.

I really hope they can still back out somehow.

Well, regardless of political, economic or historical reasons, this is going to result in death and suffering for thousands.

Let us all hope or pray to a swift resolution.

Nope. End game is here. As expect Putin already know everything the west is willing to sacrifice so threat is empty. He got no problem switching to yuan after all the sanctions. Monetary sanctions means shit to him.

So the next step is the west cut off China or China cut off Russia. Without either of those, Putin wins.

Im mostly concerned what the muppet of a US president is going to do come his meeting with the other G7 leaders tomorrow morning.

Putin has stated that any interference from any other country will face consequences never before seen. Whatever that means.

    Where we dropping bois!?
