Hows the lake there for paddling? Thinking of booking there to do some light canoeing. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

It's a teeny lake, you could canoe across it in about 10 minutes.
This, post 2013 floods the feed water for it got diverted so it’s basically just taking whatever runoff and rain falls there. That said barrier lake is about a 10 minute drive from the camp site. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Barrier is about 25 minutes from Sibbald, and is crazy busy every weekend, and subject to wild winds. Not where I'd go for "light canoeing" personally. That being said, I don't have a better suggestion if you find Sibbald too small.
Yes, even though it is small people do canoe on it. It's a very pleasant area.
I went backcountry camping at Lillian Lake with my 6 year old on Friday of the long weekend. We had two grizzlies wander into the campground around dinner time. That was a bit sketchy for a back country adventure, no cell service, 6.5km in the bush. We managed to push them out of the area while crossing our fingers that they wouldn't return that night.

IM sure anything is bigger than Forgetmenot pond just beside Lower Elbow. That was a 2 minute paddle lolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

We finally got our Alu-Cab canopy for our Tacoma, so a couple days after, we went for our very first roof top tent camping at Two Jack Main. It was a great campsite to start with and learn how to improve things.
