    I woke up this morning and remembered that I had not winterized the trailer… got it done and got the battery’s out and on the charger

    What do you guys do with your batteries in winter? I’ve got 300lbs of battery. Currently it’s disconnected

    They go in the garage on a trickle charger for the winter…

    You can leave them in the rig on a smart charger but make sure you don't lose power. If they die when its cold they will freeze and hurt them.

    Heated indoor location. charge em once in the fall, once at Christmas, and once in spring. I did not have power at storage.

    Same as I do for my bike. Doesn't even need to be heated, even a insulated garage will keep a battery from seeing a really deep freeze during the worst nights.
