Auctions need to be auction price. It's a vehicle you can't drive and barely inspect so the price needs to account for that risk.

I wouldn't call it overpaying, but I wouldn't call it a 'deal'. More or less market value. MAYBE overpay by under $10K which at that price point doesn't really matter. And that too based on someone saying this exact car was listed on Autotrader for $178K at the auction the night before.

Tough to really beat that motor up. A lot of safety item prevents this until engine oil warm, etc.

Depends what you mean by "beat up". Put a tune on it and they're somewhat known for bending the number 1 and 2 rods.

that color option alone is 9500. I dont think it's overpaid, more so market value. And these things are not easy to find.
