    Default PEX Expander Rental?

    Hi All,

Anyone have one or know where I can rent a pex expander for pex-a pipe, not to be confused with a Pex crimper for pex-b. I will be doing my new house in Pex-a but don't really want to buy a $600 tool to do the job and never use it again.

Buy the Milwaukee M12 one, use it, and sell for half price when you are done. Will be cheaper and more handy than rental.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Yah have thought about that, it is my current plan unless I can find something. I could technically get all pipes ran then then do all the crimping in a couple of hours, so could make it cheap if I could find a rental, but if I can't I will buy that Milwaukee

But used one on Kijiji. Use and then sell for within $10 of what you paid.

Most of the ones I have seen on Kijiji were above retail price....else i totally would. All good, just checking. Seems like same conclusion I have reached.

    Really?!? That's weird!
I certainly wouldn't have suggested it if I knew that.
