Given he got an axe to grind with US gov and Detroit, anything that hinder Ford and GM from competing is good news for him.

This whole thing is just another proxy war.
He’s more pissed that the iZEV rebate no longer applies to the Model 3. The disruption to other automakers was a nice bonus, though.

Trudeau will just start to say that using the term "blackface" is, itself, racist. Then people won't be able to use it in reference to him.
South Park covered this nicely 15 years ago.

“If you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who is donating hundreds of thousands of dollars, and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, then you ought to be worried,” Lametti said.

Its unfair to the democratic process moving from Pay to play to Pay to win. Or at least thats the idea.

You can't give a million dollars to Trump, have it recorded and Trump *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* side deal employment pays you to make a 2 million dollar toilet seat for an F-35. Even though this is exactly what happens. Its surprisingly a most white male only thing in North America, but obviously does happen in Asia as well.

NHL players in the Olympics would be another example of pay to win. Which is against the rules, depending on who you ask.

The maximum contribution in dollar amount to any political party used to be $20, don't know what it is now.

I'm actually mostly against pay to play, nevermind pay to win.

If you donate to the pro Trudeau movement you have nothing to worry about so I don't understand the fuss. Nothing to see here, move along comrade.

Still don't get why everyone can reach the $45K threshold and Tesla can't.

On right, they want to do everything in house.

So it's like buying car with suitcase of cash? Keep it under $10K?

the whole 'oh they weren't part of the blockade' is falling apart quickly..

"Although there is a widely spread conspiracy online among supporters of the Coutts protest that those arrested were outsiders, had just arrived in the area and were not part of the blockade group, a photo of a giant Canadian flag posted by Carbert's personal Facebook page on Feb. 5, shows the signatures of nine of those facing charges"

All this proves is that people from Lethbridge are unhinged, which we all agreed on anyways.

We need those Ottawa protestors to learn how to properly protest peacefully.

Like these upstanding citizens the feds have been treating with kid hands for several years:

Which, you know. Happened yesterday. Wonder if he will try out some emergency powers on them.

It’s weird. No endless cbc coverage about any of that violent protest and actual violence against the police.

There’s already an injunction and the RCMP are already enforcing it up there (you’d have a point if the RCMP weren’t there..).. what else would you like them to do?

This needs more attention. It keeps getting better....what are the checks an balances within the emergencies act? Could there be any real consequences for invoking this on very thin evidence? If it gets voted through the house and semate, is that the end of it; or after the dust settles, could there be some real concequances??

I’m poking fun at the discrepancy in rhetoric.

I’ll use smaller words next time.

Another fun one from fintrac highlighting no suspicious monetary transactions from extremist groups
