IE, no vax pass once your are in except in healthcare/retirement home settings. You still need Travel cert (ie vax cert) at the border.

So really, only way to get into France for a foreigner is vaccination.

I don't see how France of all EU countries would side step officially listed EU rules. Hungary may be.

G7 (minus Japan) and EU are all on the same page thus far on entry requirements. Japan is expected to let foreign nationals in around summer time. Probably too late to enjoy the sudden yen devaluation right now.

Since February 12, 2022, the following rules apply at borders :

- For travelers vaccinated within the meaning of European regulations, no more tests is required on departure. Proof of a complete vaccination schedule becomes sufficient to arrive in France, regardless of the country of origin, as was the case before the distribution of the Omicron variant.

- For unvaccinated travellers, the obligation to present a negative test to travel to France remains, but the measures on arrival (test, isolation) are lifted when they come from countries on the "green" list, characterized by a moderate circulation of the virus.

I still find it stupid people are protesting on something we can't control. Nor visiting a foreign country a right, you just have to go by their rules.

Mexico has zero mandates for entry.
