I don't care one way or the other, I just really like it when people talk shit and then have to back it up.

I don't think cars should count toward the total. This was supposed to be a trucker rally, not a car rally. It would have made more sense to take cars, but fuck them. They said trucks, so I only care about trucks.

Also, it could be 500,000 trucks and it wouldn't matter. If Trudeau decided to lift whatever restrictions he can, I very strongly believe there's still not one member of this protest that would vote Liberal next election. I also very strongly believe that if he did, there would be many people who would have voted Liberal that will vote NDP. He's got people behind him that believe doctors, and if he starts taking medical advice from truckers he'll lose those votes and gain none back. There's zero chance that this ends in a win for the truckers. Yes, the protest has received support across Canada and worldwide. This isn't shocking news. We knew this from day one, and didn't need to spend $8 million or whatever the gofundme is up to now.

This whole thing bothers me for three reasons:

1. The name sucks. "Freedom Convoy". Fuckin yuck. Get over yourselves.
2. They say they're speaking for Canadians, but they're not speaking for me because they didn't ask me. "I'm speaking up for you" - yeah, well I didn't ask you to and if this is how you're going to do it, I don't want you to.
3. It's a giant waste of money and time that could have been better spent somewhere else.
4. I don't know if the Maverick party is actually involved, but I don't like that a member of it is part of it. It feels like it's campaigning.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But I don't see how this doesn't end with everyone folding up their Fuck Trudeau flags, pretripping their trucks and heading back to work where they should have been this entire time.

But that doesn't mean EVERYONE in that convoy is of that nature and if all people do is point out the negative like you did here... you are no better than anyone else doing it.
