    there are no interprovincial restrictions..
Then I really need a 2nd cup of coffee before turning on morning news. And this convoy is completely pointless if interprovincal isn't impacted.

Does anyone find it a coincidence that this protest is happening right when restrictions are all about to be all lifted anyways?
    You are misinformed.

The point of the convoy is that because provinces aren’t ending their mandates, the Governor General and Senate need to violate provincial sovereignty and end them.

Don’t worry, they’ve got Constitutional lawyers and consultants telling them this is totally cool in case it seems like a bit more federalism than the Constitution allows for.

Yeah they want to overthrow the Canadian democratically elected government because they don't agree with a decision the USA made about their border. It's pure lunacy and stupid of the highest order. Also love how they want to usurp the will of electorate yet claim the be "patriots". I seriously wonder about the intelligence of these people.

Imagine shitting on these guys and trying to mock them for being "uneducated" and somehow deluding yourself into thinking you're on the moral high ground. Sanctimonious pricks.

Then out of the other side of your mouth, lecture us more about how you're better than us because your tribe "supports the working class".

And these are the racist nazi party:

I share almost no political positions with the majority of these people, never voted that way and have always leaned left, but the way people have been treating them is just rotten to the core. Our society has a serious disease, and it aint covid.

Oh man. If you want to see what someone who just lost their job looks like, this is it. Buddy backed the wrong horse and is trying to re-hitch his wagon haha.

The real train wreck starts at 7:30.

Its a tough call. Globally speaking, with Putin about to tank over Ukraine and hospitals still dangerously near capacity.

The righty in me says just let Omicron have its way and finally be done with it. The lefty in me says that I can actually live on beans and oatmeal for a little bit longer.

He's been in hot water for a while. All the conservatives have been saying he's "not conservative enough" and railing him for capitulating on his stance on... well, everything.

Also, it's something that majority, as in 60%+ supports. He's been in no win situation for a long time. Even tougher for this one. He was silent early on until this snowballed. Trudeau is probably laughing in isolation right now as O'Toole is probably feeling the heat more than he will on this one.

Again, if it weren't for ego and/or corruption, I don't know why anyone want to enter politics these days.

Of course he is laughing. O'Toole has to come out and "support" the crazy fringe minority further sinking his chances and his parties chances of ever being elected. The polls are pretty damn clear on who has popular support in this equation and surprise it's not the white supremacist, anti-vaxx, overthrow the government convoy wingnuts.

The conservatives need to be more centrist to get elected this type of shit is exactly why they keep losing elections. Just like coming out and talking about being against abortion or gay marriage. Sure you can do that but you're only appealing to the fringe wingnuts. So yeah I am sure the Liberals are laughing their asses off.

The convoy, especially if it is welcomed by some Tory MPs, or just tolerated by the party leader, is helping rip apart Conservatives. It gives voice and form to the radicals while strenuously pushing away the majority. There are not enough hard-right supporters in this country to ever elect a Con government. Mulroney knew that. It was what Progressive Conservatives were all about. Without drawing in middle-of-the road voters and disillusioned Liberal supporters, Conservatives will stay on the opposition benches. Forever.

So the count is similar to the 2019 Propipeline/No Carbon Tax rally.

Unless they pull a Jan 6th level of unrest and kill someone, everybody will forget about it in a couple weeks. And if that does happen, it's the end of the Conservative party as it is.

no it's stretched all the way across the country, all the way to Nanaimo, the police couldn't count them all because they couldn't all fit in Ontario

I mean, it is people from ontario counting to 550. I doubt there is even 55 people on the force, the must have asked friends to help them count. Or maybe they took their shoes off, I dunno.
