Acura RDX - 2018 vs. 2019 & Forward
Hey Beyond,
A family member is going to be changing vehicles and there's a heavy lean towards an RDX. The current generation came out in 2019 and was a sincerely "new" model with a different powertrain, interior and exterior. So, has anyone here owned both generations and if so, what are your thoughts? Does anyone who has the new version have anything to say about reliability, misc. quirks, etc.?

Outside of our 2020 RDX A Spec breaking down last month (threw a CEL and went into limp mode) driving from Manitoba back to Calgary its been great. And even that was an iced up air intake from a 'dirty filter' (lol) and extended extreme cold driving and too much idling IMO. Anyways it was fine before and its been fine since.
Infotainment system sucks and apple carplay is mega slow. No other complaints.
AWD system is great, we like the size of it and its got decent enough pickup (its no trail hawk).
